Important Notice to Clients

In order for us to provide financial planning advice to you, we need to have a reasonable basis for that advice. The information requested in this Client Risk Profile Questionnaire is one of the tools we use to establish a basis for the advice we will provide. It is therefore important for you to complete this document as accurately and fully as possible. Failure to do so could result in advice being provided that is not appropriate to your individual needs, circumstances and objectives.

Clients' financial risk tolerance - attitudes, values, motivations, preferences and experiences, is measured with a risk profile. The risk profile questionnaire helps in understanding the risk tolerance levels of a client. Risk tolerance is the assumed level of risk that a client is willing to accept. Financial Risk tolerance can be split into two parts:

Risk capacity: The ability to take risk

Risk attitude: The willingness to take risk

The risk profiling questionnaire is meant to measure the risk tolerance as well as time horizon in investing. The questionnaire is designed to show which type of investment approach may suit you best. Each answer would be given a point. The total score would suggest the appropriate risk profiling and risk assessment and suitability of service for you.

Our advice: There are not any right or wrong answers, please follow your instincts and answer the questions. Please answer the following questions by selecting only one response to each question

IMPORTANT: Before making any investment decisions, it important to understand your attitude towards risk. This helps identify an appropriate mix of investments that you are comfortable with. In setting up an investment portfolio suitable for you, your financial adviser will ask you a series of questions about your financial and lifestyle goals. Using this information, plus details of your current assets, liabilities and income, your adviser can determine what level of risk or exposure you are prepared to tolerate in relation to fluctuations in the marketplace - and the level that makes sense for your stage in life.
